Often, they are not just mitigating the effects of difficult situations, but enacting transformational change within businesses.
Some of the distinguished leaders on this year’s list include Jim Kilpatrick, Partner and Global Supply Chain & Network Operations Leader for Deloitte, who has led his firm’s perspectives, initiatives, and investments to help keep critical global supply chains flowing during disruption and volatility. Meanwhile, in 2022, PwC UK’s Lead Partner of Supply Chain and Operations, Alistair Kett, led the acquisition of Olivehorse, a leading consultancy specializing in supply chain management, which strengthened PwC’s FT Gold Medal ranked supply chain capability. And Gautam Narayan, Director in Slalom’s Global Supply Chain practice, has helped grow Slalom’s fledgling supply chain capabilities into a multimillion-dollar business.

1. Jim Kilpatrick

Jim Kilpatrick is the Global Leader of Deloitte’s Supply Chain & Network Operations consulting practice. Deloitte is recognized as one of the world’s leading global supply chain and operations consultancies, working with clients across industries and the public sector to tackle their most complex supply chain challenges and turn supply chain capability into competitive advantage.
In his over 30 years with Deloitte, Kilpatrick has led many significant global end-to-end supply chain transformation programs, delivering significant impact through global supply chain optimization, and leveraging advanced supply chain systems and technologies to build supply chain capability and improve performance. During this recent period of unprecedented disruption and volatility, Kilpatrick has led Deloitte’s perspectives, initiatives, and investments to help keep critical global supply chains flowing.
Kilpatrick is a frequent speaker and author on supply chain management. He passionately believes that building digital capability is critical to move beyond traditional service, cost, and asset optimization to embrace the new supply chain imperatives of resilience, sustainability, and agility and find the right balance in reimagining supply networks for the future. Kilpatrick received his MBA from the University of Toronto and received a degree in systems design engineering from the University of Waterloo. He is a Professional Engineer and Lean 6-Sigma Master Black Belt.
2. Dharmendra Patwardhan

Title: Executive Vice President and Global Head, Intelligent Supply Chain Operations
Dharmendra Patwardhan is the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Intelligent Supply Chain Operations for the global IT services leader Capgemini. Patwardhan contributes his decades of experience in finance and entrepreneurship to Capgemini’s supply chain transformation projects, working closely with clients in the life science, manufacturing, and CPRD industries to reimagine how they achieve their essential operational goals.
Prior to beginning his time with Capgemini, Patwardhan worked at Williams Lea as a managing director and member of the global management committee. He has also held leadership positions with Hewlett Packard, Infosys BPO, and ESOP Direct. Patwardhan began his career as vice president at merchant banking company Indcap Advisors. He is certified as a professional chartered accountant.
3. Fredrik de Maré

Title: Senior Managing Director
Fredrik de Maré is a Senior Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Supply Chain Global Solutions Practice. He has more than 20 years of management consulting experience advising clients on supply chain strategy, supply chain risk management, and operational performance improvement. His sector expertise spans across the healthcare, life sciences, and technology industries. De Maré brings deep operational strategy expertise, including global supply chain network strategy and supply chain risk management. Over the course of his career, he has worked with numerous clients on a global basis to mitigate critical supply chain risks and drive transformational improvements to their supply chain operations.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, de Maré served as a senior leader in the Operations & Supply Chain practice of Russell Reynolds Associates, where he advised industry-leading clients on supply chain leadership and management topics. He was previously a partner with Arthur D. Little leading its San Francisco office. Earlier, he was a partner in PRTM’s Supply Chain practice and subsequently a partner in PwC’s Healthcare practice, where he spearheaded the pharma supply chain risk management services. De Maré received a Bachelor of Science in engineering management from the University of Vermont and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
4. Glenn Steinberg

Title: Global and Americas Supply Chain Leader
Serving in the position of Global and Americas Supply Chain Leader for professional services giant EY is Glenn Steinberg, a visionary business leader with unparalleled expertise in business transformation and strategy. In addition to his leadership position with EY, he also contributes his vision and experience to Columbia University’s Supply Chain Innovation Network.
Before joining EY as a supply chain advisory co-leader in 2016, Steinberg served in key leadership positions with some of the world’s top brands. After more than a decade of excellence in the management consulting division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, he drove major growth for IBM as a vice president and senior client partner. He holds an MBA in finance and operations management from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Union College.
5. Alistair Kett
Company: PwC UK
Title: Lead Partner of Supply Chain and Operations
Alistair Kett is the Lead Partner of Supply Chain and Operations at PwC UK and has held various appointments within PwC globally, including a role in the Middle East Leading the Regional Operational Consulting business. He specializes in designing and delivering enterprise-wide transformation programs that deliver tangible and sustained outcomes. Typically, these have a sharp focus on cost, and over more recent years this focus is now combining financial cost with the imperative to decarbonize — and Kett has overseen some of PwC’s groundbreaking client partnerships to help develop straightforward plans to measure, monitor, and reduce their operational and supply chain related emissions.
Recently, Kett and his team launched the Inspire Initiative — a scholarship program for young women to pursue careers in operations consulting and beyond. The program works on reducing gender disparity across Operations, changing the way women are recruited, retained, and progressed through their career, and pioneering an innovative and industry-first Women in Operations Network, Community, and Retreat.
In early 2022, Kett led the acquisition of Olivehorse, a leading consultancy specializing in supply chain management. The acquisition strengthened PwC’s already outstanding and FT Gold Medal-ranked supply chain capability, delivering even better value to the clients. During his time in the Middle East, Kett joined the Board of The Iraq Britain Business Council to chair the Financial and Professional Services Table, and in 2017 he was appointed as Deputy Chairman. He is now Chairman of The Poppy Factory, a U.K.-based charity that supports veterans with health conditions on their journey into employment.
6. Takshay Aggarwal
Company: IBM
Title: Global Practice Leader, Supply Chain and Manufacturing
Takshay Aggarwal is Global Practice Leader, Supply Chain and Manufacturing with IBM, and is responsible for delivering next-level business transformation solutions for companies in search of improved customer experiences, seamless tech integration, or a better bottom line. Among his areas of expertise are autonomous supply chains, agile business models, and fostering the next generation of SCM leaders.
Aggarwal’s position as a transformative leader in the technology sector is built on his more than two decades of leadership excellence. He distinguished himself over more than 13 years with Infosys Consulting, and also headed supply chain and procurement matters with DSM and Dabur India Limited for several years. He holds an MBA in business administration and management from IRMA and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Guru Nanak Dev University.
7. Gautam Narayan
Company: Slalom
Title: Director, Global Supply Chain
Gautam Narayan is a Director in Slalom’s Global Supply Chain practice. Slalom is a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company. In his role, Narayan has helped grow Slalom’s fledgling supply chain capabilities into a multimillion-dollar business. He has worked with companies across industries to address their thorniest problems. He has taken on a variety of leadership roles, from advising the C-Suite of global companies on their supply chain modernization journeys, to overseeing the delivery and sustainment of next-generation supply chain capabilities. His work has led him, and Slalom, to be featured on the Latin America (LATAM) Medtech Leaders Podcast, where he discusses supply chain implications across the region.
Prior to joining Slalom, Narayan worked at global Big 4 Consulting firms, where he partnered with senior leaders at large organizations to identify and articulate where strategic capability and technology investments would unlock value. He also spent many years leading large, complex supply chain transformations globally.
Narayan prides himself on challenging traditional ways of thinking, approaching problems creatively, building competencies and delivery mechanisms around that, and helping shape the future of what businesses can and should be. He received his industrial engineering degree from Purdue University.
8. James Hannah
Company: General Dynamics Information Technology
Title: Global Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President for IT and Supply Chain
As Global Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President for Information Technology and Supply Chain for General Dynamics Information Technology, James Hannah is responsible for delivering industry-driving strategic plans for business application, enterprise, data centers, and more. As a recognized expert in the fields of network security and enterprise architecture, he also oversees GDIT’s supply chain management.
Hannah’s time with GDIT stretches back more than 13 years, having joined the company as Director of Engineering in 2009. Previously, he served as a senior systems engineer with L-3 Titan, and before that he was a senior system engineer and project manager for Mutual of America for seven years. Hannah earned an MBA in international business from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor’s degree in English and history from Hofstra University.
9. Jose Bleda
Company: Accenture
Title: Managing Director, Supply Chain and Operations
Jose Bleda is Accenture’s Managing Director for Supply Chain and Operations as well as Strategy and Consulting. In this capacity, Bleda is responsible for driving large-scale transformation in the company’s global platforms, helping steer new pipelines and develop architecture for Accenture’s international teams.
Although Bleda has only been delivering next-level results for operations and strategy in his current post at Accenture since 2020, his tenure with the company stretches back more than 30 years. For five years he led Accenture’s management consulting practice in South Africa, and he served as senior executive and partner at Accenture Spain for two decades. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from Escuela Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Barcelona as well as a master’s in engineering from Esade.
10. Andrew Underwood
Company: KPMG
Title: Advisory Lead Partner, European Tax Efficient Supply Chain Management
Andrew Underwood is a Partner in the Corporate Advisory practice of KPMG and leads the UK Supply Chain Management team within the Business Effectiveness service line (SCM, Procurement, and Sourcing). He has spent the last several years specializing in Tax Efficient Supply Chain Management (TESCM), where he led the Vodafone and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) TESCM design and implementation programs. He is also the ELLP Lead Partner for ADM, a U.S. Fortune 50 agribusiness.
Underwood’s reputation as a transformative leader in business operations was built over years of success with KPMG and Ernst & Young. In addition to his key professional duties, he serves as a trustee and governor of The King’s School. He completed his education at The King’s School Worcester and South Bank University, earning a Bachelor of Science with Honours in process technology and management studies.
11. Chris Monk

Title: Managing Director, Global Supply Chain Solutions Practice Leader
Chris Monk currently serves as Managing Director and Global Supply Chain Solutions Practice Leader for Protiviti, a global consulting firm that delivers deep expertise, objective insights, a tailored approach, and unparalleled collaboration to help leaders confidently face the future. Monk has over 18 years’ experience in supply chain, both within industry and serving clients as a consultant. He has a proven track record of analyzing, improving, and transforming organizations and processes and delivering sustainable cost savings for clients across a number of industries. His areas of focus include S&OP, sourcing and procurement, contracting & supplier management, third party risk management, and inventory management & distribution.
Prior to launching his standout 20-year tenure with Protiviti, Monk worked as a senior consultant with Arthur Andersen. He began his career on the front lines of technological innovation, working in product development and integration with Applied Materials and Motorola. Monk holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and industrial distribution from Texas A&M University.
12. Jeree Hanavec

Title: Executive Vice President, Global Supply Chain Operations
Jeree Hanavec is World Wide Technology’s Executive Vice President, Global Supply Chain Operations, tasked with driving the company’s global operations in multiple international markets. Hanavec leads a 3,000-strong global supply management team, developing and directing her work force’s considerable talent to deliver best-in-industry planning, procurement, and integration services to clients including numerous Fortune 500 companies.
While Hanavec is best known for the exceptional leadership and insight she has demonstrated in her current position, she has worked for World Wide Technology for nearly 20 years, having previously headed the company’s global order operations and supply chain divisions. Prior to joining World Wide Technology, Hanavec worked for Sydcor, Cerqa, and Hart Graphics for several years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Concordia University Texas.
13. Bernd Schreiber

Title: Managing Partner, Global Operations Management Practice Leader
Bernd Schreiber is a Partner based in Arthur D. Little’s Frankfurt office and leads the firm’s global Operations Management practice. He also leads ADL’s global Industry 4.0 activities and is a member of the firm’s Digital Transformation & Analytics think tank. Schreiber’s main areas of expertise cover strategy definition, operating model and organizational design, operational excellence, supply chain management, performance improvement, and transformation programs in a wide variety of industries. With his projects, he helps ADL’s clients to anticipate future trends in operations. He designs innovative solutions and helps to transform businesses towards performance excellence across the value chain.
For example, Schreiber has helped leading companies in automotive, transportation, energy, and other industries to apply Industry 4.0 and digital technologies in operations to achieve quantum-leap efficiency gains, as well as assisting them in generating value out of data. Applying digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, bots, collaborative robots, augmented reality, blockchain, and additive manufacturing allows for EBIT improvement from 30% to 50%. Schreiber has also helped various clients in transforming their supply chains and procurement from transaction-oriented units to value-generating functions, which delivers strategic impact for the companies’ competitiveness.
Schreiber has often published ADL’s viewpoints in operations, such as in “Future of Operations in the Digital World,” “Procurement 4.0,” and “Radical Simplification.” He is also responsible for the firm’s flagship operations benchmark in procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, Schreiber worked for seven years for manufacturing companies in finance, controlling, and supply chain management.
14. Daniel Swan

Title: Managing Partner, Global Operations Practice Co-Leader
Daniel Swan is the Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company’s Stamford, Connecticut office and a co-leader of the firm’s Operations Practice globally. With a deep understanding of how global trends impact companies’ operations, bottom line, and most importantly, people, Swan leads companies through end-to-end transformations, helping them drive growth, supply chain resilience, operational excellence, environmental sustainability, and workforce empowerment.
Swan is energized by working with world-class clients and organizations on challenging problems, in collaboration with a tremendous team of Operations Practice colleagues who are focused on delivering a transformative impact for their clients and beyond. He serves manufacturing (e.g., CPG, industrial) and service (e.g., retail, rental companies) clients on end-to-end operations issues across procurement, planning, manufacturing, and logistics. Through his client work and research, he leads the firm’s thinking on operations collaboration.
In his career, Swan has helped global consumer and retail companies identify and achieve deep improvements in their supply chains. He is also a board member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and of Todd Martin Youth Leadership, a grass-roots organization based in mid-Michigan focused on helping prepare underprivileged youth for success through innovative tennis, education, and leadership development programming. Swan earned his MBA in operations and his Bachelor of Science in industrial management from Purdue University.
15. Allison Kahler

Title: Partner, Operations Practice Leader
Allison Kahler is a Partner and Operations (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement) Practice Leader for Bain & Company. She is also a member of Bain & Company’s Performance Improvement and Consumer Products practices. An operations expert, Kahler has recently led engagements covering supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement, with an emphasis on leveraging the latest digital tools and capabilities. Her current sector work focuses on food and beverages.
Beyond her client work, Kahler is deeply involved with the firm’s global Inspirational Leadership and Women at Bain efforts. Outside of Bain, she is a member of A Better Chicago’s Impact Council and The Art Institute of Chicago’s Auxiliary Board. 16. Jeffery Gallart

As Managing Director and leader of Teneo’s U.S. Transport practice, Jeffrey Gallart works with transit agencies, mobility providers, and organizations with large infrastructure footprints. His engagements include strategic planning, revenue generation, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. Gallart has assisted numerous private and public sector entities with organizational structure and business process re-engineering projects aimed at enhancing long-term business performance.
Outside the Transport sector, Gallart is an expert in supply chain and logistics. He served as a logistics and operations officer in the U.S. Army for almost a decade, serving two tours in Iraq, and was the general manager of a third-party logistics facility. Prior to joining Teneo, Gallart worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, PwC, and KPMG in management consulting leadership positions. He holds an MBA and Master of Science in finance from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
17. Michael Lierow

Dr. Michael Lierow is a Partner based in Oliver Wyman’s Munich office. Within the transportation and retail practices, Lierow supports postal, parcel, and logistics companies, retailers, and other multinational companies in the European market. He specializes in strategy, operations, supply chains, and multichannel retailing. Moreover, Lierow leads Oliver Wyman’s global Sustainability Center. He helps customers unlock growth through clean technology and sustainability solutions by combining economic growth and environmental awareness, with a special focus on energy, infrastructure, mobility, transportation, and waste.
Lierow joined Oliver Wyman in 2012. Prior to that, he served as an associate principal with McKinsey & Company. He earned his PhD from the University of Bremen in Germany and studied business and economics at the Otto-Beisheim Graduate School of Management (WHU) in Germany, France, and Australia, earning his MBA in the process.
18. Ben YoKell

Title: Managing Director, National Sourcing & Supply Chain Practice Leader
Named a “Pro to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive in 2015, Ben YoKell is a recognized leader in the supply chain services and technology space, having spent the last two decades delivering supply chain strategy, inventory optimization, and other related projects for clients and partners around the world. Today, he serves as a Managing Director in Grant Thornton’s Operations Transformation practice, where he leads the national sourcing & supply chain practice and team.
Prior to Grant Thornton, YoKell spent more than 11 years at Chainalytics, most recently serving as vice president and practice leader. In addition to his skills as a business leader, YoKell is a much sought-after speaker and has addressed organizations such as APICS, CSCMP, and IBF, and has lectured at multiple business management schools on analytics and operational strategies. He holds two degrees from Cornell University: a Master of Engineering in operations research and a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics.
19. Andrew Owen
Company: Alvarez & Marsal
Title: Director Operations and Supply Chain
Andrew Owen is the Director of Operations and Supply Chain at Alvarez & Marsal, a leading global professional services firm that provides advisory, business performance improvement, and turnaround management services. While Owen has only been with A&M since December 2019, he has a wealth of experience working for other companies. He previously served as a supply chain solutions manager for Covidien's EMEA business. Among his many achievements during his more than 12 years at Covidien, Owen was able to reduce inventory costs by $2 million.
He went on to hold similar leadership positions for companies such as BTG and ClarusOne Sourcing Services. Prior to A&M, he served as Head of Supply Chain (UK & IE) at Takeda, where he had operational responsibility for customer service for a $500 million business. Based out of Farnham, England, Owen holds a Master of Science in logistics, materials, and supply chain management from the Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Hull.
20. Jeffrey Groux
Company: Raytheon Technologies
Title: Senior Director, Global Supply Chain
Jeffrey Groux is the Senior Director, Global Supply Chain for Raytheon Technologies, an aerospace and defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military, and government customers worldwide. Formed in 2020 through the combination of Raytheon Company and the United Technologies Corporation aerospace businesses, Raytheon Technologies and its 174,000 employees are now pushing the boundaries of avionics, cybersecurity, directed energy, electric propulsion, hypersonics, quantum physics, and more.
Groux is an experienced logistics, sourcing, and supply chain leader with 15+ years of executive experience at Fortune 100 companies delivering change, sustained results, continuous improvement, and high-performing talent. His P&L and supply chain accomplishments include leading a $11 billion global sourcing organization; the strategic leadership and ownership of a $90 million OEM and aftermarket business unit; and M&A activity associated with the divestiture of Otis Elevator Co. and Carrier Global Corp. while integrating Raytheon Company to create Raytheon Technologies, a multinational, $100 billion revenue, Fortune 100 company providing high technology and services to the Aerospace & Defense industry. Groux earned his MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and his Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He also completed the Executive Education Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
21. Geoff Ibbotson

Title: Director of Global Supply Chain Operations
Geoff Ibbotson is the Director of Global Supply Chain Operations for Atos. Headquartered in Bezons, France, the multinational IT service and consulting company specializes in hi-tech transactional services, unified communications, cloud, big data, and cybersecurity services. With over 20 years of experience in the U.K. and European mobile telecoms, fixed telecoms, and consumer goods industries, Ibbotson has seen it all. He first joined Atos in March 2015 as Director of Direct Sourcing for its Unify business. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including being a leader of Unify's global team that was responsible for procurement and strategic sourcing of finished goods, production services, and components.
Prior to his current role at Atos, Ibbotson served the company as Global Supply Chain Lead. Before Atos, he held managing and leadership roles at numerous U.K.-based companies such as Tilcon, Avoira, and T-Mobile (U.K.) Limited, among others. Ibbotson holds a MBA from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in applied chemistry from Leeds Beckett University.
22. Ankit Tiwari
Company: Tata Consultancy Services
Title: Director, Supply Chain Consulting
Ankit Tiwari is a Director with Tata Consultancy Services’ Global Supply Chain Consulting Practice, advising clients on transformational strategies and implementation roadmaps in supply chain planning, execution, and manufacturing. In this position, he brings over 17 years of supply chain transformation and engineering services experience.
Born and raised in India, during the course of his career Tiwari has worked for some of the world's most recognizable companies: Hindustan Motors, Accenture, GE Oil & Gas, and GE Power. In May 2015, he joined Tata Consultancy Serves as a senior engagement manager, a role that led to his current leadership position. Tiwari holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya University and completed a Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) in marketing & supply chain from the Xavier Institute of Management.
23. Corey Biven
Company: SAIC
Title: Director of Supply Chain Management
Corey Biven serves as SAIC’s Director of Supply Chain Management. He is a seven year veteran of the company and a respected authority in the world of global and regional supply chain needs. Building on his years of experience at previous companies, Biven helps SAIC build necessary business infrastructures that ensure supply chain operations run smoothly.
Biven, who earned his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Purdue University, began his career as a program engineer at Castrol in September 1996. Always looking for new challenges, in March 2000, he joined the U.K.-based motor vehicle manufacturer Delphi as a senior buyer. During the next 15+ years, Biven would not only climb the corporate ladder at Delphi, he also went back to school and earned his Master of Science in business management at Walsh College. Prior to joining SAIC, he served as Delphi's North America Purchasing Director.
24. Claire Brockbank
Company: QinetiQ
Title: Head of Supply Chain
A procurement professional, Claire Brockbank has more than 20 years of experience in both the Defense and out-sourcing provider industries. For the past 4+ years, she's been leveraging her unique skill set at QinetiQ, one of the U.K.'s leading defense technology and security companies. After starting as QinetiQ's Head of Procurement in 2019, she was promoted to Head of Supply Chain for the company's U.K. Defense business in August 2022.
Prior to QinetiQ, Brockbank served as Head of Category for Engineering Services for Serco, where she was responsible for leading the continued development and implementation of sourcing strategies across marine, aviation, and land-based engineering spend within the company’s businesses, including SRM responsibilities. Brockbank is also an active volunteer, currently serving as chair, director, and junior coach for the Basingstoke Hockey Club and previously acting as a mini coach and youth section coordinator. She holds a Master of Science in procurement from the University of South Wales and a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Northumbria University.
25. Casey Chapman

Chapman’s primary areas of focus include complex business transformations, financial and operations/supply chain performance improvement, and optimization of technology within the Consumer Products and Industrial Products industries.
Chapman is also actively involved in the private equity and M&A practices, where he is a leader in the operations due diligence, synergy analysis, and post-merger integration services. Prior to RSM, he served as a management consultant for Carpedia and as a personal financial advisor for American Express Financial Advisors. Chapman earned his Bachelor of Science in milling science and management from Kansas State University.
