Allegis Global Solutions (AGS) continues to find new ways
Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, the company specializes in global talent acquisition and workforce solutions, with clients in more than 60 countries. AGS is a subsidiary of Hanover-based staffing giant Allegis Group, one of the largest companies in Maryland.
AGS offers clients a variety of solutions, including Managed Service Providers (MSP), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Procurement Solutions, Workforce and Technology Consulting, and Direct Sourcing. The company has also invested in its own tech capabilities, such as QuantumWork and DocuSift, to improve and simplify the experience for the hiring manager, worker, and supplier.
Its work has certainly paid off: Earlier this year, AGS was awarded a $10.2 million, five-year contract to work with University of Maryland Global Campus’s human resources department to recruit faculty and staff for the college's three divisions in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
AGS has not stopped working to improve its capabilities. In May, the company announced the addition of SimplifyVMS to its vendor management system (VMS) partner relationships, offering AGS’ mid-market leading SIGMA MSP clients with cloud-based VMS technology to address contingent workforce and services procurement needs. That same month, the company launched its technology-powered platform, AGS INTELLECT Hire, which utilizes AI-enabled pipeline automation technology, along with highly trained experts, to target and accurately shortlist top talent.
Now AGS has revealed its expedited strategy for focusing on bringing their clients a greater value as they navigate a fast-changing talent landscape. With plans to continue investing and creating a new function to drive additional client value, the Global Business Services Group will leverage capabilities across all products bringing together data, technology, analytics, and delivery.
"Over the last two years, we had started to see a shift in the industry with many clients starting to think about work and talent in a more holistic way, so we were already on the journey to help companies rethink how they get work done," says Chad Lane, President. "Then COVID-19 hit, and we accelerated our strategy and investment in our business to bring together data insights, technology and partners to provide rapid, agile and scalable solutions needed in this new world of work."
