The demand for cloud computing services has continued to rise, especially with companies initiating their digital transformations.
As a result, many companies are working to expand their cloud capabilities, including Wipro Limited, a leading global information technology, consulting, and business process services company. Wipro uses cognitive computing, hyper-automation, robotics, cloud, analytics, and emerging technologies to help clients across six continents adapt to the digital world.
Wipro recently announced that it plans to expand its IBM Hybrid Cloud Practice to help clients modernize their digital operations across hybrid cloud environments by leveraging IBM Cloud Paks, as well as Wipro’s own BoundaryLess Enterprise (BLE) and ModernizR.
Both solutions were built with IBM Cloud Paks on Red Hat OpenShift and can run in any cloud environment, including the IBM public cloud. BLE is a hybrid cloud management platform that enables customers to run their cloud-native applications from anywhere, while ModernizR is a solution built with IBM Cloud Pak for Applications.
“Wipro empowers customers across industries to re-imagine their cloud journey with its business-first strategy and industrialized solutions approach. We believe the future will be driven by hybrid cloud hence, the expansion of IBM Hybrid cloud practice is intrinsic to our strategy. It will strengthen our relationship with IBM and help accelerate our client’s transformation journey across hybrid cloud environments,” said Bhanumurthy B.M, President and Chief Operating Officer of Wipro.
This news follows Wipro’s announcement last month that it was teaming up with SAP SE on cloud-based solutions for the real estate industry. Wipro has already launched the Tenant Acquisition Management (TAM) solution which enables faster deal conversion for tenants leasing by providing a seamless, real time and consistent experience for leasing agents to perform ‘Lead to Lease’ activities. With these solutions, combined with the services Wipro offers, clients will be better equipped to transition to cloud-based operations.
