The shift to remote work has helped drive record sales of cloud infrastructure services in the first quarter of 2020, with spending increasing by 34% in
Onix recently announced it has signed an expanded agreement with Google Cloud to accelerate its growth and customer adoption of Google Cloud products and solutions. The deal will allow Onix to deliver infrastructure and application modernization, data and analytics services, and managed services as a certified MSP provider on Google Cloud.
Headquartered in Lakewood, Ohio, Onix serves its customers with virtual teams in Atlanta, Austin, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, and New York, as well as Canadian offices in Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. In addition to cloud services, Onix also provides cost and budget management via its tool, OnSpend, which utilizes machine learning to provide more accurate spending projections and insights into a customer’s cloud billing.
Earlier this year, the company received the 2019 Google Cloud Global Specialization Partner of the Year for Cloud Migration for its achievements in the Google Cloud ecosystem. And in July, the company achieved the Managed Services Provider status in the Google Cloud Partner Advantage Program by demonstrating their end-to-end customer lifecycle service delivery capabilities.
"Onix has demonstrated its strong capabilities as a Google Cloud MSP and its ability to help customers execute digital transformations. We are excited that Onix will double down on its Google Cloud practice and look forward to working closely with Onix to help customers benefit from Google Cloud technology and solutions," said Eric Rosenkranz, Director of North America Partnerships at Google Cloud.
This news follows Onix’s announcement last month that it has been named an Amazon Web Services (AWS) DevOps Competency Partner, which is awarded to firms that have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success in specialized solution areas.
