Kia has more than 15 years of healthcare management consulting experience and possess strong expertise in health care operations and implementing transformational care initiatives in both the private and public sectors.
Prior to joining North Highland, Kia was a member of Booz Allen Hamilton’s Civil Health Leadership team. She was involved in numerous high-profile engagements, including the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and establishment of the Health Insurance Marketplaces. She served as a trusted advisor and thought leader to clients working through organizational challenges, led large cross-functional teams, and managed a portfolio of contracts for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. She holds an MBA and MS in Health Care Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a BS in Biology from Howard University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional and Risk Management Professional.
