Dufresne has nearly 20 years of IT consulting experience. She is a nationally recognized thought leader in healthcare IT and reform initiatives for government public assistance programs. She has collaborated with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a member of the Medicaid Technology Alliance to help guide states toward the implementation of modular systems that lower operational costs and improve outcomes. She also served as the board chair for the Private Sector Technology Group and led collaboration activities between CMS and the State Technology Advisory Group. Dufresne previously served as the Medicaid Operations Director for MaineCare Services and has a Master of Science in Management degree in healthcare administration from New England College.
Government IT Consulting: Dufresne has over 20 years of experience providing strategic planning and procurement services, project management office leadership, organizational change management, quality assurance, and independent verification and validation services for dozens of large-scale system modernization projects across the nation. Healthcare and Human Services: Dufresne is a recognized leader in the HHS industry and has participated on numerous boards including the CMS Medicaid Information Technology Architecture Business Architect Review Board and the Private Sector Technology Group. She has been invited to speak on industry trends at some of the nation’s leading HHS conferences including the Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference and the HIT Connect Summit. Dufresne was also named one of the Top 50 Healthcare Consultants in 2021 by The Consulting Report.
Leadership: Dufresne has been a member of CSG’s Senior Management Team since 2015, overseeing CSG’s engagements, directing services efforts, and providing executive leadership to our teams. She also served as board chair for the Private Sector Technology Group’s Innovations Committee and as the Operations Director for the State of Maine’s Medicaid program. During her time as Operations Director, she oversaw all divisions responsible for delivery of services to eligible members and led the implementation of a Medicaid Enterprise modular solution and Data Services Hub.
