James Kessler is the North America, SVP, State & Local Public Sector Industry Lead of Publicis Sapient. Publicis Sapient is a digital business transformation company. They partner with global organizations to help them create and sustain competitive advantage in a world that is increasingly digital. Notably, Kessler has devoted his entire consulting career to helping his clients harness the business power and customer impact of digital technologies. For over a quarter century at Publicis Sapient, Kessler has played the roles of software engineer, project manager, digital product owner, account director, client partner, business unit executive, and Boston office leader.
Currently, Kessler is the national business lead for Publicis Sapient’s State and local government industry. In that role, he brings his decades of experience across digital business transformation. Before Sapient, Kessler received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Concentrating his studies in the emerging field of digital systems engineering, Kessler received an Sc.M. from Brown University. During his 27-year consulting career, Kessler pursued an MBA at Boston College in Chestnut Hill and studied Digital Government Transformation at the Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge.
