Sean Laffere serves as the national supply chain leader for Alvarez & Marsal's corporate performance improvement (CPI) group, where he also leads the supply chain services practice. Laffere has over 25 years of experience in multiple supply chain areas, including sales and operations planning, sourcing and procurement, logistics, and organizational design. His expertise extends to financial supply chain and operations improvement, focusing on asset and fleet management, the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles, contract management, material planning, working capital optimization, and business process optimization.
Laffere’s industry experience spans energy, industrials, consumer-packaged goods, media, and construction. Before his tenure at Alvarez & Marsal, Laffere worked at Deloitte for over six years, specializing in supply chain management and enterprise software applications. His career also includes time at O’Neal Steel, Inc., where he was involved in operations. Laffere's academic background includes a bachelor’s in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University.
